Our History
BakTek was founded in 1991 to provide Northern California retail and commercial bakeries with first rate service and maintenance support. From simple repairs at the corner bakery or pizza joint to full industrial bakery installations, BakTek built a reputation for top quality support and quick, reliable service.
In 2001 BakTek partnered with key people from the Baking Machines manufacturing company and began offering a complete line of industrial bagel equipment, bread and other dough processing systems as well as custom panning and conveyor solutions.
Our plant in Livermore, California features full in house engineering and manufacturing capacity with all CNC machine and sheetmetal production equipment, and electrical and mechanical design and assembly.
Our local service staff has grown to six highly experienced technicians located all over the Bay Area, Sacramento and Central Valley.
